Innovact Consulting attended the SolidWorks 2016 launch at Immanuel College in Adelaide on 8th Oct 15.
This event keeps SolidWorks users up to date with the new user interface, new tools, and new process enhancements that combine to help get work done faster than ever before.
The launch also allows innovative companies to network and exchange information on how they benefit from this programme.
This year the presentations mainly concentrated around simplifying the end product for ease of manufacture and reducing the number of component parts.
The Finite Element Analysis was also the focus of many success stories as this has negated lots of prototype testing prior to manufacture.
An example was a major car manufacturer that now only crash tests the first car off the production line to prove the theory they have already established through SolidWorks. This simulation speeds up the design and validation process and allows production in a very timely manner.
In this way SolidWorks is most definitely shaping all of our futures and Innovact Consulting are proud to be on board.
