On Saturday 26 March 2022, the “Random Kids Racing” pedal prix team competed in Race 1 (8-hour series) of the Uni SA Australian HPV Super Series in Mount Gambier.

The event was held at the McNamara Park Motorcycle Race Circuit. This 2.4 km circuit offered something for everyone with fast straights, sweeping bends and a number of technical downhill and uphill sections.

With well over 70 teams racing on the day, the “Random Kids Racing” team, comprised of 6 team members, had a fantastic start and were able to maintain lap consistency through the entire 8 hour day and, after a tight battle for first place, finished the day in 2nd place by only 2 minutes behind the leader in their U17 division.

Amazingly, the team’s best speed for the day was just over 55 km/h, with an average speed just under 37 km/h covering a distance of 290 km that day.
