On Saturday 14 May 2022, the “Random Kids Racing” pedal prix team competed in Race 2 (6-hour series) of the Uni SA Australian HPV Super Series at Tailem Bend.

The event was held at The Bend Motorsport Park. This 3.41 km circuit offered a combination of technical corners and fast and flowing sections to ensure good racing.

With well over 90 teams racing on the day, the “Random Kids Racing” team, comprised of 6 team members, had a fantastic start and held a consistent lap speed through the entire 6-hour day. The team finished the day in 2nd place, even after rolling the car on lap 30, in their U17 division.

Amazingly, the team’s best speed for the day was just over 44 km/h, with an average speed just under 37 km/h covering a distance of 230 km that day.
